What we're doing and why
Launched on July 5, 2010...MAIN STREETS EXETER is a continuation of the preparation work initiated by the South Huron Chamber of Commerce, the Exeter BIA and the Municipality of South Huron to revitalize Exeter's commercial district. The primary goals of the three-year project are to develop a strategic alliance between the key community stakeholders and to further develop the Main Street and Thames Road commercial areas as the regional commercial centre for adjacent areas of Huron, Perth, Middlesex and North Lambton County. This will be accomplished through a number of sub projects including a Streetscape Plan, a Community Improvement Plan and enhanced event coordination in an expanded commercial centre.
